Gujarati Muslim Association of Australia condemn the recent attack in Sydney and send
our condolences to the victims of the tragic incident. We as Gujarati Muslims do not support Terrorism in any form and urge one should not confuse Terrorism
with Islam.

GMAA established in year 2010 is a Not for Profit Organization established to help Gujarati Muslim Community settled in Australia. Since we have common roots and we respect our cultural values, we want to preserve it for our next generations in Australia to create a healthy society. We regularly promote and encourage members to donate blood through Austalian Blood Cross as we believe we are a part of the bigger Australian society. We create donation funds to help our community members bear funeral expenses in the time of need. We encourage children boost their capabilities by holding award ceremonies as we strongly believe they are the future of our growing society. Every year our Graduates hold talks with juniors to help them select right career path. We encourage our members to take up voluntary work to help our society and environment we live in. We organize community gatherings on various festive occasions to increase brotherhood within community. Our Members try to attend events from as far as Canberra, Melbourne and Adelaide.
